So sad to hear of this loss. I met Don in Jacksonville and shared some great times. I have been looking for him for years. Sounds like he had a great life.

I'm very sorry to hear about Don's passing. I went to high school with him and while I wasn't friends with him, his passing has touched me deeply. I am very glad to see from the other comments that he had John and Bob and family/friends who cared and supported and loved him for who he was. So many people are not loved for who they truly are and it makes me happy to know that he was. To John and his family/friends, cherish those memories you have of Don and may you know much peace through the years.

I have many fond and funny memories of Donald. He and Mike and I did a lot of laughing, singing and dancing in Philly, "back in the day." He could go from silly to serious in an instant and had a quick quip or compassionate comment, depending on what was needed at the moment. I feel blessed to have known him. His good works and friendships brought comfort and meaning to many in his circle. Sincere condolences to those closest to him.
