Marvin Binek Obituary
Marvin T. Binek, 79, of High Rolls, New Mexico, passed away on May 4, 2015 in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
Marvin was born in Dickinson, North Dakota, on March 19, 1936 to Martin J. and Erna Binek.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Marti, his parents, and his brother, Paul S. Binek.
After graduating college from North Dakota State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marvin met and married his beloved wife, Marti, and shortly afterwards he was drafted into the U.S. Army. He served two years of active duty, and once his military service ended, he continued his career with the Civil Service and worked at the White Sands Missile Range, where he retired after many years of service. In addition to his family, Marvin's passions included Lionel trains, World War II aircraft, and flying his own airplane.
Marvin is survived by his son, Darwin, and wife, Kelly, of Midlothian, Texas, and his son, Darin, and wife, Kitty, of Midland, Texas; three grandchildren; Kurtis Davis and wife, Julie, Karlton Davis and wife, Jodi, and Darwin Binek Jr. (DJ) and wife, Jayla; Six great grand-children; Kaylie, Gracie, Hayden, Peyton, Dylan and Pierson.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday morning, May 8, 2015, at Hamilton O'Dell Funeral Home at 11 a.m., located at 1334 N. Scenic Drive, Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Our Thoughts and Prayers are with all of you. I loved the way Marvin wouldn't say much with lots of people around but, I remember watching him listening to everyone around and he would get that look on his face and then sorta let out a chuckle! It always made me smile! Love you guys.
