Madelyn Holbrook Obituary
Madelyn was born March 16, 2008 in Carmichael, California to Elena Burymski Holbrook and Ashton Wayne Holbrook. Maddy was in second grade at Stoddard Elementary.
Maddy was an amazing big sister and a great helper to her mom. She was kind, loving and her smile would light up the room. She was super creative and loved to draw, paint and sew. She loved animals and nature, as well as swimming, dancing, jump rope and hiking with her family. We will miss and forever love our angel, our Maddy-girl.
She and her family attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved being in Primary. Maddy had a strong testimony of Eternal Families.
She is survived by her parents, Ashton and Elena Holbrook; brothers, Gideon Wayne and Elijah Alexander; sister, Cora Rozanna, all of Blackfoot; grandparents, Alex and Rozanna Lidia Burymski of Saratoga Springs, Utah; Bruce Wayne and Lorene Lee Hudson Holbrook of Mesa, Arizona; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Viewings and Funeral Service: The family will meet with friends for a public viewing from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. An additional viewing will be from 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Blackfoot East Stake Center, 1289 Mt. Putnam Drive in Blackfoot. Directly following this viewing the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the stake center. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.

I remember seeing her beautiful bright smile, I miss my best friend so much, me and Madelyn both had plans to go to highschool together and graduate together, I had so many things planned with her, my heart aches for her truly same with her family, always missing my girl

I just heard your interview on Grover's podcast. I'm so sorry about the loss of your beautiful child. I just lost my 14-year-old daughter to cancer in May. She was the oldest of four as well, and the second oldest, her brother, has stepped up to become the oldest child. Thank you for doing the podcast and sharing your faith. You have helped me feel not so alone.

i am maddys friend me and here use to play at the water park. me and here were best friends . i loved here so much . she was so nice to me when i slipped in the mud i got a bad cut but she was there to comfort me . love kamree.

I remember Maddy's sweet smile and eagerness to learn the primary songs in the rexburg 5th ward. She was one of my very favorite Sunbeams.
