Mr. Glenn Harris

Funeral service for Mr. Glenn Harris, 54, will be today, March 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Word Alive International Outreach with Pastor Steven Buchanan, Canaan Elkins, Walter Lawson and Caleb Mattox officiating. The family will receive friends on the same day for one hour before the service. Burial will follow the service at Forestlawn Memorial Gardens. Glenn passed away on March 10, 2017. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Samantha Harris; son, Chance Harris; grandson, Major Harris; parents, Merrill and Sue Harris; brother, Mike Harris; sister, Dianne Fain (Donnie); step children, Robi Vio and Brittney Edwards; step- grandchildren, Trent Conaway, Jaxson Ledbetter, Drake Ledbetter, and Jet Ledbetter; aunt and uncle, Kaye and Frank Campbell; mother-in-law, Francis 'Gano' Bradley; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his furbaby, LuLu. He is preceded in death by his son, Chase Harris; grandparents, Mary and Billie Grice; an uncle, Pat Harris; father- in-law, Thomas R. Bradley. Pallbearers will be Daryl Luker, Tracy Cooper, Nick Nations, Wendell Buchanan, Mike Harris and Bob Grimes. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith McLeod, Revy Higgins Sr., Dennis Petroff, Keith Brooks, Mike Walters and Chase Harris. Glenn was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and attended Oxford High School. He was an owner and operator of Harris Used Cars. He was attending and baptized at Simple Church. He thoroughly enjoyed being on the river, living life to the fullest, and Auburn football. He is an extremely generous and kind man who loved people and never met a stranger.
