This is extrememly sad news especially in the wake of hearing about John,Mark's dad. John was the first guitarist I ever played in a band with. We were very close friends for the longest time.
My heart and prayers go out to all the familyespecially Bill who I knew well and Ann who i met when I lived in NY state.

My deepest sorrows and prayers go out to the family of Mark Thompson, especially his wife, Melissa. My fiance was an Ocean County Sheriff's officer who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident April 24, 2010. There is no greater loss than that of a loved one, I wish you the best, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I regret to announce that Mark's father, John J. Thompson Sr. passed away last Monday, February 28, 2011. He loved Mark and his brother, John, more than they will ever know.
He will be buried on Friday, March 3, 2011. It is with great sadness that I learn about my nephew Mark's passing. My condolences to his wife, child, brother and mother.
