Paul C. Mottola, age 78, of Manchester, died Tues. Aug. 29 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in New York City, he lived in Bayville for 28 years prior to moving to Manchester 17 years ago.

He was a graduate of Manhattan College and St. Simon Stock High School, Bronx, NY. Paul was employed as a Senior Regional Manager for Dun & Bradstreet Corp., New York City for 30 years until retiring.

He was the Cub Scout Leader for Pack 27, Bayville, baseball coach for the Berkeley Township Little League, President of the Leisure Village West Model Train Club, and prior member of the Jaycees in Bloomfield, NJ. Paul was a devoted Yankee fan and never missed a game. His children, grandchildren and great grandson meant the world to him and he supported and enjoyed their activities, sports, music, dance, and school events. All of their achievements were very special to him.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Kathy; his sons Paul and his wife Tara, Peter and his wife Renee; grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicole, Evan, Amanda and his great grandson, Luke. He is also survived by brother Bob and his wife Patti, and many nieces and nephews.

He was a loving, kind family man whose memory will be cherished always by all his family.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at "The Family Owned" Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated Mon. 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River.
