John Sullivan Obituary
AGE: 78 • Rumson
John C. Sullivan, 78, of Rumson passed away suddenly, Sunday, March 13th. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was an Engineer at Bell Labs in Holmdel for 40 years. John was a Knight of Columbus, Red Bank Council 3187 and the Treasurer of the 'Briody Bunch' of Rumson.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Patricia (nee: Keaveney), his loving children John P. and his wife Kim Tuby, Erin Sullivan, Kevin and his wife Nicole Walker and Michael and his wife Alyson. Also surviving are his dear grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Shane, Brian, Thomas and Jason.
A life celebration will be at the John E. Day Funeral Home Wednesday, March 16th from 4-7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, March 17th at Holy Cross R.C. Ch. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wounded Warrior Project 370-7th Ave. 3rd fl. Rm 320 NY, NY 10001 or the charity of your choice appreciated. John was a native of Manchester, NH. We attended schools there, that eventually brought us both together at Bell Labs. We shared many memories of Manchester. He attended an all boys HS that was taught by Christian Brothers, some of which also taught at CBA in Lincroft.
John was a 'bon vivant' and we all enjoyed his stories, laughter and camaraderie. We will all miss you our dear friend. Let us know if you meet

John was a great man and a great supporter of the charitable work we did at the Knights of Columbus. I could always count on John to show up and lend a hand anytime I had an event. My condolences to your family, John you were a great friend and you will be missed.
