Myrtle Howard Obituary
AGE: 94 • Shrewsbury
Myrtle Howard, 94, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013. She was a devoted wife and mother of eight. Myrtle was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs Ellis Brown; her husband, Clinton Howard; and three children, Donald Howard, Phyllis Johnson, and Joan Lewis. She is survived by her five children, Robert Howard, Evelyn Perkins and her husband Jason, Craig Howard, Christina Howard, and Cervin Howard and his wife Michelle. Myrtle also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her vibrant presence will truly be missed by all.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 until the service at 11 a.m. at Fisk Chapel A.M.E., Fair Haven. The interment will be held at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Childs Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements.

Nanny you will truly be missed, everytime I came to see you, you made me smile even if it was a bad day, you knew just what to say you had so much spunk and I loved that. I'm so happy we got to spend your 94th birthday together and you got a chance to meet your great great grandkids it was truly a blessing....Give my mom a hug and kiss for me..... Lisa....

Nanny was an inspirational part of my life.
She was always there for me and I'll never forget the weekends in Fair Haven that I shared with family and friends.. I'm truly going to miss her sassy spirit!
