George Anthony Lamberti

AGE: 83 • formerly of Fair Haven

George Anthony Lamberti, 83, formerly of Fair Haven and Delray Beach Fla., died on May 19th in Keansburg. George was born in Genoa Italy on Oct 24 1931 to Vincenza and Enrico Lamberti.

George immigrated to America In Sept of 1946. He first attended the Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ. He ultimately graduated from The Rhodes School in Manhattan. He also attended Admiral Farragut Academy in Sea Girt, NJ. In addition to being a member of the National Guard in the State of NY 107th Infantry. He then went on to receive his degree in Engineering from the Pratt Institute of Technology. He was hired by Fisher and Porter in Clifton NJ where he worked as a sales engineer for 20 years. His concentration was on air and water pollution control in the Industry.

George was an active sportsman. His passions consisted of coaching youth soccer for Fair Haven Recreation back in the 70's. He also played soccer. He enjoyed skiing, tennis, fishing and scuba diving. He was a pilot for small private planes a self taught musician and a photographer. He enjoyed Italian cooking immensely.

He is survived by his wife Ionice Lamberti his daughter Etta Kelly and her husband Chris, his son Enrico Lamberti and their mother Maria Luisa Lamberti, as well as grandchildren, Laura, Christopher, Daniela, Kelly, Francesca, and Ava Lamberti.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of he Nativity Fair Haven on Tuesday June 17th at 10am.In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Clean Ocean Action 18 Hartshorne Dr. Highlands NJ 07732 www.cleanocean action.com. Thompson Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
