AGE: 94 • Lincroft
Brother James Perry, F.S.C., 94, of Lincroft died November 2, 2016 at De La Salle Hall, Lincroft. Brother James was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and received the Holy Habit of the Christian Brothers on September 7, 1940.
Brother James' assignments included St. Peter's Junior High School, Staten Island, N.Y., La Salle Military Academy, Oakdale, N.Y., Bradley High School, Manchester, N.H., Lincoln Hall, Lincolndale, N.Y., St. Joseph High School, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft, Manhattan College, Bronx, N.Y., Notre Dame High School, Dira Dawn, Ethiopia, La Salle Academy Community, St. Pius Seminary, Musoma, Tanzania, sub-director of the Brother's Novitate, Skaneateles, N.Y., Christian Brothers Academy, Syracuse, N.Y., and a staff member at De la Salle Hall, Lincroft. Brother James had been in residence at De La Salle Hall since 2009.
The viewing will be held at De La Salle Hall, 810 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at De La Salle Hall at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations to De La Salle Nursing Development would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
