Pete's wonderful music and sunny disposition were a major contribution to the success of SPUR's (Special People United to Ride) open house two years ago. We enjoyed our association with him and will miss him and his music. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Pete was one of those people who could put a smile on your face. He enthusiasm and energy was contagious. And he so loved his Rough on Rats shirt and loved to share photos of it in strange and far a way places. Pete you are remembered fondly by this ALHFAM friend. Lynne Belluscio

I am so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. His love of a good song and its history were an inspiration, and his keen wit appreciated.

I was so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. I knew him many years through ALHFAM, and our organization will be the poorer without him. It was always such a pleasure to catch up with him at the conference. My sincere condolences.

To Pete's Family,
I know you know that Pete was a very special person to you and your family.
You should also know that he was a giant in the museum/living history field. Pete and I go far back through ALHFAM, sharing advice through the years, and my wife and I being in the front row every time he played [with the D Major's] at the Greenbank Mill in Wilmington Delaware.
I have lost a friend. "...I have travell'd this wide world over, and now to another I'll go. I know good quarters are waiting' to welcome Old Rosin The Beau".
With condolences,

We were to Poricy Park one evening last week and were just struck by the work that Pete and Marsha Rissland, and many others exerted to save the Murray Farmhouse, the Barn, the beautiful park. Just a fantastic job! Middletown Township must offer to those good folks, and especially at this sad time to, PETE BRADY - THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Middletown is a better place for your having been here.

Our deep sympathy to Pete's Family - but enjoy that legacy we all share.
