Ernest Anemone Obituary
AGE: 78 • Port Reading
Ernest Anemone, 78, of Port Reading, died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and lived in Port Reading for 36 years. He retired from Bristol Myers Company in Hillside, where he worked as a Customer Representative. Ernest was an honorary member of the Woodbridge Township Senior Billiards Club and a member of the Table Tennis Association, where he competed in the Para Olympics in England, Ireland, Austria and Australia. He was on the N.J. Transit Committee for the Disabled and a Track Official for the local high schools.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 38 years, Zoila Anemone; his two daughters, Christine Sisolak and her husband, Steve, and Michelle Kurbansade and her husband, Dennis; his four grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Tyler and Emma; his sister, Rosemary Pappagallo and her husband, Anthony; and many nieces nephews.
The viewing will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 20 at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave., Carteret. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Ernie was a wonderful man, always helpful to me when I first met him as a track official. We had many great conversations each year at the state meets and I looked forward to spending time with him each May and at track meetings. He always had a smile!

Ernie, life as been goood to you and your family. I enjoy working with you at Bristol Myers and as a Track Official, Plus, your yearly call to get the answers fpr the High school test. Zolia, you had a wonderful husband and your daughters or married and you have grand children that will always remind you of Earnie may he rest with god and one day we all will see him again.

I was very sad when I read this, my deepest sympathies to his family.
I drove Ernie many times, we used to exchange transportation stories. I remember when his daughter got married, his grandchildren were born.
Ernie was a great person, he will be missed by everyone that knew him.

We are saddened to hear of Ernie's passing. Our memories are of a wonderful man with lots of courage and faith. It was a joy for us to be with Zoila and Ernie at our monthly Sunday evening gatherings. It was an honor to know him. Many blessings to the family.
