I have known Jeff since middle school. we used to sing in the chorus together from about grade 6. it was an honor and pleasure to see Jeff grow into the wonderful talented beautiful person he was. I hadn't talked to him in a long time...but i must say the last trip I made to jersey, his dad made me listen to this cd. he wouldnt tell me who it was, he just made me listen. from the moment that the voice could be heard through the speakers in the car...all of the hairs on my body stood on end! it took me a minute to figure out who it was...and then his dad told me that it was only jeffs voice and the pianist that were being recorded; that there were no amps being used on that particular track. it instantly brought tears to my eyes. i was completely amazed to hear how jeffs voice had progressed through the years. it wasnt a shock..just a pleasant surprise.
i remember when we were all just kids standing on the risers in the theatre of SWMHS putting on a show for all of our parents. and i remember the one song that really kinda got us to really notice jeffs singing abilities...(in my memory). it was the song "a whole new world" and he did a duet with nicole alvarez. we had known he had talent before that...but that song in my opinion was like a turning point. from that song on...we all encouraged him to sing loud and proud. from there he went more into theatre...and became a huge presence on the sayreville stage.
jeff wasnt just a school mate, he was everyones friend. mr. piccurro stated it well.. jeff was not the type of person to just say hi to when you greeted him; you hugged him. he will be missed terribly.
to the family, friends and his fiance, my deepest condolences for your loss. eventhough he isnt here with us in body..he is most definately here with us in spirit watching over all of us as he used to. rest in peace jeffrey...u are sadly missed. much love always...oxoxoxo

I met Jeff when I was 17. He was in the same voice studio at WCC as I was and his lesson was usually right before mine. When I started college he was so friendly and even though at the time we didn't know each other well, his kind words and encouragment meant a lot to me. Jeff always amazed me with his positive attitude and his stunning voice.

To Jeffs family and to Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless.

I met Jeff 10 years ago, while being an exchange student in New Jersy, at Sayreville War Memorial High School, and I got to know him through the theater-society. He was such a kind and friendly person, and I am so sad to hear that Jeff passed away. There are now words to describe such a tradgedy!
Even though it's been 10 years, his memory still blesses my life even today. He was just so kind to everyone around him, and brought sunshine to everyone he met on his path.
I will always remember jeff, and his kind and friendly family too.
The best wishes for his family and everyone that was close to him.
Jeff made a positive contribution to my life, without knowing it himself I guess. That's just the kind of person he was.
Rest in peace, jeff. You were a great person and a good friend. And you will always have a place among my greatest memories!

I had the wonderful privilege of knowing Jeff from 1999. We became roommates the following year until the spring of 2003. No matter how challenging, stressful, or busy a day was Jeff was always there to give his time to me. No one ever felt inadequate around him because he simply didn't care to let shortcomings distract him from caring. Jeff saw the flaws in people but only acknowledged their beautiful traits. He rose above pettiness to treat everyone he encountered with human decency. Whether it was through humor, a helping hand, or just listening, Jeff's beauty left an indelible mark in the people he touched. This was clearly shown by the overflow of viewers in attendance at his wake, the well attended funeral service, a facebook site set up within hours of his repose and an unprecedented choir of forty voices to sing at the Monday mass. The days not spent with Jeff will truly be harder to get through, but may his example of love sustain us everyday until we see him again in eternity.

Jeff and I became good friends our junior and senior years of high school. I have one VERY special memory of Jeff from 'Fiddler on the Roof' that tops all the rest I have of him. When the March production of 'Fiddler' came along our senior year, I was already 15-16 weeks pregnant with my daughter, Erin. I was sitting in the audience with my family watching the show on closing night when I felt the baby kick me for the very first time - it was during Jeff's solo, "If I were a Rich Man". He was such an AMAZING talent when it came to his vocals, and he OWNED that song... I was at his house a few weeks earlier the day he was teaching himself that song, and now, during his final time singing it on "our" stage I felt the most wonderful flutter of life inside me. It was as if his voice made her (Erin) as happy as it made the rest of us. It was such a touching moment.

On stage that night, after Mr. Piccuirro handed out our senior awards, I whispered in Jeff's ear what had happened during his solo. He looked at me with big, amazed eyes, with love and excitement, and hugged me harder than he probably should have. He told me how happy he was for me, and kissed my cheek... At that time in my life, having a friend who could say something like that - and mean it with his whole heart - was something special. Jeff Stan was something special. A first time mother can never forget the first time she feels her baby move inside her, and I am so blessed to have such a touching memory of Jeff, and of our senior musical together. He was a great friend. He will never be forgotten.

The Stanislawcyk Family and Friends of Jeff,
I am truly saddened by your loss of Jeff. He was truly a talented and caring person. Everytime I seen him was as though we never parted. We had a few very memorable times which I will always keep with me. My heart goes out to his family during this difficult time. God called for the most talented singer and Jeff was invited. Let the good memories of Jeff lighten you during this dark moment. Until we meet again Jeff, best wishes.

What can I say about Jeff that hasn't already been said? I haven't seen Jeff in almost 10 years, but I am sure he hadn't changed. Jeff was the person you went to when you needed to laugh. He was so funny. He came up with nicknames for my friends and I and would give you a big hug just because. I am so sad to hear that Jeff passed, but I am sure that he will be looking down on all of us and somehow making our day brighter.

I just want to send out my deepest condolences to his family and friends. I hope that you find peace through this much difficult time.

God bless

To the Stanislawczyk family and friends,

My memories with Jeff go a long way back in High School and all the plays and shows we were in together. There was a man who NEVER stopped smiling. He was full of life and full of joy. If you were having a bad day, he made it better by smiling at you. He was just that special. Although as most High Schooler's do we all lost touch he is one of those classmate you just don't forget. It is impossible to ever understand why such an amazing person would leave us so early but his memory will always live on in my heart and in everyone else's heart he has touched. God bless all of his family and friends. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My dearest Friend... I can't imagine your sorrow and grief.

When you spoke of Jeffrey you spoke of him with such love and tenderness. It's very difficult to know you and your family are bearing such a painful loss. I know that you expected a lifetime to spend with Jeffrey and I know you will miss him terribly.

I wanted to let you know that I am here for you at any time you need me - just to listen, or to talk. Please, don't hesitate to call me at home or work anytime.

With my deepest sympathy, your friend,

Jeff was a beautiful person, inside and out and had such a bright inner light that you could not help but be touched by it. Jeff touched so many lives and his kindness, love caring wit and talent were just the tip of the iceburg. It is hard to accept that a gift so beautiful and a blessing so rich could not be with us longer. May God continue to bless all who mourn this wonderful and talented man. You were surely already blessed to be in his life, if only for a moment.

I knew Jeff from Truman School all through high school. He was an honest fun-loving guy, a fantastically talented singer and he had the greatest laugh. I was so sad to receive this news.

My thoughts are with his family, friends and fiancee through this difficult time.

Jeffrey was the kind of theatre student who comes along once in a lifetime. His amazing talent in singing and acting was only matched by his wonderful personality and his kindness towards others. Jeffrey's spirit and talent was larger than life. We are all so blessed to have had him in our lives, even for so short a period of time. At Sayreville War Memorial High School, Jeffrey was our Tevye in "Fiddler on The Roof", our Friar Lawrence in "Romeo and Juliet", our Mr. Bumble in "Oliver" and one of the most creative student directors we've ever had! To know Jeff was to love him. Jeff was not the kind of person you shook hands with when you saw him. With Jeff, you gave him a hug! In 1999, I took Jeff to see his first Opera at the Amato Opera in Greenwich Village, and with his voice training with Mr. Craft, the rest was history. Jeff had the voice of an angel, and he will always be our shining star! Just last year, in March 2008, Jeffrey returned to his Alma Mater to sing in our "Funny Girl", where he received ovations as the amazing tenor who sang to a "pregnant" Fanny. In my four decades of teaching theatre and directing plays, Jeff was not only one of the greatest students I've ever had the honor to teach and direct, but also one of the nicest! Blessings to Jeffrey and his family, and Blessings to all those who had the good fortune to have been a part of this wonderful person's amazing life!

We met Jeff about 5 years ago or so. We are best friends with Mary, his fiance. They made the cutest couple and he treated her so well. Even though we saw Jeff only a few times because of how far away we were he definitely had an impact on our lives forever and we will always remember him. He was such a friendly, talented and loving person, you always were smiling when he was around! Our thoughts and prayers go to the family during this very difficult time.

The first time that we met Jeffrey is when Christine and Jim took us to his performance . As he sang, everyone in the audience just clung on every word , it was like a voice of an angel and you could see that he had such a sparkle in his eyes that it was something that he loved and that he was doing something to bring joy to everyone.
