To Tom's Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Tom and Charlie Cuneen in the early 80s at Metropolitan Life. Tom was not only a great executive, but a true Christian gentleman, fun to be around, and a loyal supporter of those dedicated to Met. The world is a better place for Tom having been here.

May the Lord watch over and aid the healing process for the McCarthy family during this difficult time. It is not how a person dies that really matters, but the way they lived their lives. May you have peace in your lives and loving memories in your souls. R. Raney

It is always sad to be informed of the passing of a Manhattan College alumnus.
The sadness is increased when it is clear that he also attended Cardinal Hayes High School.
We walked the same halls, although at different times.
May Thomas J. McCarthy rest in peace.
Respectfully,
John Rooney

Dear Claire, Kathi and Family,
We are saddened by the news of your loss. Tom will be remembered as a gentle, caring and loving husband, father and friend. Jackson Township has lost a great man but Tom will always be remembered fondly by those he left behind. May the Lord look upon you and keep you strong at this time of sorrow.
Love and Blessings,
Kevin and Sally Johnson & Family

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
