We will always remember Daniel as the smiling 6 yr. old that we took fishing at Mongaup Pond. He always wanted to cast by himself and most of the time ended up in a tree or almost hooking someone behind him! But he always said " I can do it!" and eventually did do it and caught more fish than the adults!

However after this week we will remember him as the incredible young man that touched so many lives that resulted in the most unbelieveable outpouring of love that we have ever experienced. You have truely touched our hearts and will be remembered always; and our love for Mom, Dad and Mathiew will always be there.

With Love,

God's Lent Child
I'll lend you for a little while
A child of mine, God said
for you to love, while they live.
And mourn for when there dead.
It may be six or seven years
or forty two or three
but will you, till I call them back,
take care of them for me?
They'll bring there charms to gladden you
and, should there stay be brief....
You'll have there lovely memories
as a solace for your grief.
I cannot promise they will stay,
since all from earth return,
but there are lessons taught below,
I want this child to learn.
I've looked the whole world over
in my search for teachers true,
and from the things that crowd life's lane,
I have chosen you!
Now will you give them all our love?
Nor think the labor vain?
Nor hate me when I come to take
This LENT CHILD back again?
I fancied that I heard them say
Dear Lord, Thy will be done.
For all the joy thy child shall bring
the risk of grief we'll run.
We will shelter them with tenderness,
we'll love them while we may.
And for the happiness we have known
forever grateful stay.
But should thy Angel call for them
much sooner then we've planned,
we'll brave the bitter grief that comes
and try to understand....
May you find comfort knowing you are in the hearts of so many during this difficult time.

No parent should ever have to bury their young, vibrant, beautiful, heck of an athlete 15-year-old.
Monday night after the JV game, we cried our way home and watched previous football video in utter shock and disbelief, watching your #28 - his matching gloves to cleats and signature orange mouthpiece, he was easy to pick out, “Way to go FALCO” is what you heard. I loved watching your son and the 2008 freshman, now JV team play, they “were going somewhere - together”.
My morning commute, like the sophomore wing at SJV is a tear-fest. Although I was not fortunate enough to have ever been introduced to Danny, he holds a place in my heart, Anthony’s and my daughter too. In coping with the aftermath his premature passing, Danny has brought an outrageous amount of love, support and warmth to those left behind. Together, may you and your family find solace in the days, months and years to come.
God Bless You and Yours
and May FALCO Forever Rest In Peace

Dear Bart & Elena,

My heart is heavy as I write this letter; I was truly saddened to learn about the loss of your son Daniel. My wife Pollye and I have two daughters, and I simply cannot imagine the grief that you are both going through right now. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything we can do to help you or your family cope with your loss, please do not hesitate to call upon us at any time. We are here for you and hope you can take comfort in knowing that your son is now with God and the angels in heaven.

Best personal regards,
