Aaron Derek "A.D." Lee, 19, son of Aaron and JoAnn Lee, departed this life on Friday, April 16, 2010, at his parents' home in Lovejoy, Ga. Born Feb. 9, 1991 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, he was the youngest of three siblings, Africa Joy and Ashley. He grew up in Aberdeen and was educated in the Matawan-Aberdeen School District until his sophmore year in high school. After such a successful football season, A.D. was invited to play in the U.S. Army All-Shore Conference game. For his stellar year in sports, A.D. was awarded Varsity Letters from Keyport High School in football and track. Outside of football, A.D. enjoyed riding his motorcylce affectionately named #33 and playing with his pitbull, "Mercedes".
He leaves to celebrate his life parents, Aaron and JoAnn Lee of Lovejoy, Ga.; a daughter, Destiny Mya Lee of Aberdeen; two sisters, Africa Joy Nelson (Anton) of Aberdeen, Ashley Lee of Aberdeen; four stepbrothers, Ian Spruell of Neptune, Ralph Lee of Sayreville, Ros Lee of Keyport, and Harlie Smith of Sayreville; one nephew, Isaiah Nelson; one niece, Autumn Nelson; godparents, Raymond Lee, Diane Lee, and Irene and Tony Cannady.
