Charles Binaco, 86, of Farmingdale, passed away Saturday May 12, 2012, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in Red Bank to his parents, Fred and Rosina Binaco. Charles lived in Farmingdale for the past 50 years. He retired after many years as a tree expert with Public Works of Howell Township and previously with Asplundh Tree Expert Co. in Scotch Plains. Charles was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a member of the Manchester Sportsman Club.

Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gloria M. Binaco, in 1995; his parents; two sisters, Spernanza and Adeline; and two brothers, Patrick Sr. and Felix Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Wombough and her husband Rick; two sons, Charles Jr. of Farmingdale, and Philip and his wife Maritza of Pittsboro, NC; one grandson, Nicholas; three brothers, Philip and his wife Ruth of Fair Haven, Raymond and his wife Theresa of Colts Neck, and George of Oakhurst; and two sisters, Flora Dedy and her husband Russell of Blackwood, and Violet Alvino and her husband William of Colts Neck. He is also survived by many loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15 at the John E Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Bridge Avenue, Red Bank. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
