Eileen S. Gaissert

AGE: 74 • Lakewood

Eileen S. Gaissert, 74, of Lakewood, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She was born and raised in Perth Amboy before moving to Edison where she had lived most of her life prior to residing in Lakewood for the past 9 years. Eileen was employed at Chevron Oil Company for 32 years, Scarpelli Insurance for 9 years and Advance Insurance for the past 7 years.

Eileen is predeceased by her parents, Walter and Grace Vereb. She is survived by her granddaughter, Gina Niccole Gaissert of West Palm Beach, FL; her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Michael Budzek of Manasquan; and her first husband, Carl Gaissert of Kendall Park and father of their son, Gregory Michael Gaissert whose death occurred in 2012. In addition, Eileen is also survived by her devoted and loving companion of 39 years, Jerry Stampiglia.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A graveside service will be held 12 noon Thursday, Oct. 30 at Calvary Cemetery of the Magyar Reformed Church, Florida Grove Road, Hopelawn.
