AGE: 74 • Keansburg
Cornelius "Connie" J. Clifford, 74 of Keansburg, was born October 24, 1941 in Bronx NY. To Cornelius and Catherine, they moved to Laurel Ave. in West Keansburg, September of 1957, where he became the next door neighbor to the Kauffmann family. When his parents passed away his Uncle Dick and Aunt Mary came to care for him until there death in the early 1970's. In 1971 he moved into the Center Hotel, where he became part of the Kauffmann family for over 50 years. He was our manager, our hardest worker, protector and our dad's best buddy. In 2012 he moved into Bayside Manor Nursing Home on Laurel Ave., just down the street where he lived so many years ago. Family will be accepting friends on Thursday 4-8pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Friday there will be a 10:15am Mass at St. Ann's Church, Keansburg. Cremation will be private. We would like to thank Bayside Manor and the Cappadonna family, along with the entire staff for their exceptional care of our brother Connie.
