Delbert Pack Obituary

Delbert A. Pack, age 83, passed away on Nov. 27, 2010 in San Antonio, TX. Until the last few years, he had resided in and around the Wheatland area for 40 years. He retired from Civil Service as a Maintenance Foreman at Beale Air Force base. His first love was his family and his passion was Rodeo. He entered his first rodeo at the age of 14 and continued until the age of 69 when an illness forced him to finally hang up the spurs. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Mary Anderson, his second wife Mary Francis, his parents Prentiss and Blanche Pack, and sisters Juanita Wells and Norma Clark. He is survived by his daughter Patricia Wehry and her husband Chet, son David Pack and his wife Noralee, sister Lilla Conkle, brother Jerry Pack and his wife Connie, step-daughter Catrina Christopher and her husband Tom and many nieces, nephews, grandkids, great grandkids, great great grandkids and many friends. Memorial services will be held Monday Dec. 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City. Internment with Military Honor Guard will follow at Sierra View Memorial Park.
