Dear Ben and family,
I just learned of Diana's passing and am so saddened. She and I enjoyed a very special friendship as we taught 4th grade next door to each other at April Lane. She brightened my day each morning with her beautiful smile. We also learned we were Alpha Phi sorority sisters which made our bond even stronger. We now live in the Phoenix area, but we continued to exchange Christmas cards. Please know that you are in my heart, and both Bob and I send our deepest and most sincere condolences.

Dear Ben and Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I was thinking of Diana and Ben at Christmas because we always exchanged Christmas cards and this year no card. Diana and I met as sorority sisters at San Jose State and became wonderful friends. We toured Europe in 1953 and she was my bridesmaid in my 1954 wedding. Through the years we kept in touch and saw each other occasionally. Diana will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Whenever I ran into Diana she was so very friendly and enthusiastic. Her smile was so bright it lit up my day. I didn't run into her very often but the times I did, I will not forget. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My thoughts & prayers to you all. Diane blessed my life in so many ways. I lived a few houses from Diane & Ben for several years. My life was not always the easiest. Diane continued to support me with her wonderful wisdom & encouragement. She always praised me for my accomplishments. She gave the power to be strong & to realize I could do anything no matter the obstacles. She was a blessing to my children. She loved them, but also gave them that stern look when they were misbehaving. They always new what they could & couldnt do with Diane. She was so strong. She adored Ben. Our little road went past their house & Boy! if you went through there to fast. She would walk down that road & get you. Ben's eye sight was not the best at that time & at times he would walk to the mail box & fiddle around near the the drive way. I love you Diane. Your love thought me to be a big girl.

Diana was an incredibly bright and beautiful lady and a truly gifted teacher and mentor. I was a student teacher at April Lane under Diana's guidance 18 years ago, and as a 4th grade teacher, I still incorporate many of the teaching strategies and ideas that I learned from her. May she rest in peace and may God bless her and all of the Morasch family, friends, and loved ones.

Dear Ben, Jim, and Jason, you have our heartfelt sympathy and are in our thoughts and prayers at Diana's passing. I will never forget my first meeting with her after I interviewed with you, Ben, for a teaching position at YCHS back in 1971. After the interview we went to your home where she treated me to a delicious lunch. From the start, I knew her as a caring and loving lady with a smile that could light up and warm a long winter's night. May the Lord be with you in your loss and grant you both comfort and peace.
