Henry was a great kid. I was stationed at Beale AFB for 8 yrs and watched him play football as he grew up. So sad. I´ll miss Him Jim and Glenda.

I remember in jr high @ yg the first day me & henry became friends. We had band 2gether & both played trumpet & he told me that girls shouldn't & couldn't play that insterment, so I showed him I did my best even though he played beautiful. I'm sure he's playing them tunes he played so well. well we just have another angel watching over us class of 1996. My prayers go out to all. God bless

One thing Henry Herr would want you to have is a relationship with Jesus. That was what Henry was all about, especially for the last 5 years of his life. An amazing young man who will be missed greatly, but oh, what an impact he has had, and continues to have.

I can't agree more with the words used to describe Henry in this obituary...strength, character and faith...these are in fact the words that come to me when I reminisce fondly about Henry. I met Henry in middle school and will never forget competing with him in the many athletic competitions we played together. Henry was the biggest guy I knew...and the kindest...truly a man that treated others like we all should, with respect and an open heart. My condolences to the Herr family, with love,

I had the opportunity and priviledge of coaching Henry at LHS....he was a great person, both on and off the field and he will be missed. What a great human being he became and he has touched so many people in a positive, strong way. May God bless you and your family.

There are no words that express the feelings that are felt at times like these. Henry was a great friend from our elementary days at Ella School through our junior high school triumphs at YG and on into and beyond our high school years…..the world has truly lost a great man but gained a one of a kind guardian angel. I never got the priviledge of meeting Henry, but I knew his mother Glenda. From hearing different stories from his mother, I can just imagine what a wonderful person he was and a wonderful and devoted husband and son. God Bless You.

Henry was a good guy and a great athlete. I haven't seen him since high school but it's hard to imagine that his time on this earth has already passed. My condolences go out to all his friends and family. You will be missed greatly by so many people Henry.

Henry you may not be among us but your spirit will live forever in our hearts for all of us. We all share such special memories of you. I can't think of one high school football game that you aren't part of my memory. Henry you had a heart of gold you always knew how to make everyone smile you had an amazing talent for getting someone out of a bad mood and making them see that no matter what happens they could laugh it off and be in a better mood !!! I will never forget our conversation we had last March about God. It really touched my heart and I finally felt like I wasnt alone.Thank goodness for our faith because where else would we be without it? The Lord is so lucky to have you and he must be so proud.
Even though you no longer suffer thru the pains and we all know you are in a much better place, its still so hard to believe one of our Blazers is gone. I can not wait for all of us to reunite again at the table with our jerseys and cheer uniforms!!!! You will never ever ever ever be forgotten.

My memories of Henry were in my home with family and at HCC doing many plays and cantata's. Henry had a great voice for narations and was always believable in the acting rolls he played. You are missed!

I knew Henry all through junior and high school. He was a big guy with an equally big heart. He always had a smile on his face and treated people with respect. We were in YG marching band together and both played trumpet. Ill always remember our band trips and concerts. He was funny a blast to be around. Although we lost touch I am grateful he found me on Facebook. You will be missed my friend. May you rest in peace...

I knew Henry for as long as I can remember. The true definition I could some him up as is motivator. As little kids we had the plan all laid out. He the sports star I was the rock star. Henry always had the knack of being real with everyone. The world lost a hero but heaven gained another star. You will be missed my brother and thank you for all the motivation sessions. I wanted to say thank you for being a part of my life and making me a better person. I can not put into words how much I will miss you.
