Linda Nelson Obituary

Linda Marie Nelson Born October 18, 1941, in Yuba City, California, passed away peacefully at The Fountains on November 13, 2010. Linda was a life-long Yuba Sutter resident and graduate of Marysville High School, class of 1959. She is survived by her husband, and soul-mate Jack of 50 years and her two daughters and their families: Jackie and John Quigg of Live Oak and Michele and David Wright of Yuba City. She was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren, Meghan, Kaitlyn, Jack and Olivia; whom she absolutely adored and often spoiled with her generosity. Linda worked for 15 years as a draftsman for the Pacific Bell Phone Company where she was known for her astute attention to detail and exceptional work ethic. Her hard work and enthusiasm for quality was a cut above and became her trademark as it was easily recognized through her artwork and the three custom homes she designed and built with her husband. Her hobbies and interest ranged from gardening, fishing, baking, decorating, shopping and simply enjoying the finer things in life. However, her number one priority was family. Her memory will be cherished and her love and laughter will live in the hearts of those she touched. The values she taught, and the care she gave to so many enriched their lives in more ways than we can count. Memorial services to be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 18th, at the Yuba City Nazarene Church. Located at 600 N. George Washington Blvd., Yuba City. Send Condolences to www.appealdemocrat.com
