Family-Placed Death Notice

KEATH, William William James Keath lived in this world from 12/31/1982 until 2/9/2010. He loved life, his friends, and his family.You may remember him at Little Flower or Dodge Elementary, Phillips Middle, Davidson High, Christ United Methodist Church, or Virginia's Health Foods. He was not easy to forget. He loved music, camping, disc golf, mountains, rivers, and all God's creatures and creations. He loved to play with his son, Tommie, at playground or watch Sponge Bob. He is survived by Tommie, of Mobile, Tommie's mom, Megan Peterson, his brother, Joe Liles, his parents, Walt and Janet Liles of Marietta, GA, his aunts, Patricia Nicks of Lilburn, GA, Susan Fraley of Roswell, GA, Elizabeth Harper, of Marietta, GA, 2 uncles and 8 cousins, many many close friends in Mobile, his father Bruce Keath of St. Louis,and his uncle Gordon Keath of Bakersville, NC. Home. A Memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from Christ United Methodist Church, Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to an education fund for William's son, Tommie. Until that is established, though, donations can be sent to Janet Liles at 4388 Brandon Cove, Marietta, GA 30066, earmarked: Tommie's Education Fund. Arrangements are by Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street Ext., Mobile, AL 36606.

I worked with Billy for over a year before I left the States. He was always trying to make me, well, everyone, laugh & was very simply a good person to the core. My heart breaks for him & his friend & family, especially Tommie. I pray he knows how genuinely great his dad was.

I only hung out with Billy a few times but, I remember him as a really easy going guy with a great personality. I was sad to hear that he left us.
