Family-Placed Death Notice
BOYKIN, Doretha Mrs. Doretha Boykin of Palmetto passed away April 12, 2009. She is survived by her daughter, L. Carolyn Baker of Palmetto; sons, Billy L. Baker and his wife Joyce K. of Palmetto; Chester R. Baker of Smyrna; sister, Joanne Mustgrave of Princeton, NC; grandchildren, Cindy Voegtlin; Jolee Hynson; Bartley Baker; Ray Baker; Robyn Baker; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Sollie Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Those wishing may send an online condolence at www.parrottfuneralhome. com. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to Palmetto First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 828, Palmetto, GA 30268. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, Fairburn. 770-964-4800.
