My brother Daniel was a wonderful, kind and truly blessed man of God.
Growing up with him was filled with so many moments of kindness, warmth, and humor that I will never forget his many gifts and devotion to service. He truly enjoyed helping others, and only God knows why he was taken from us so suddenly .I will truly miss him every day for the rest of my life, His loving brother, Bobby.

Saddened to hear of Danny's passing, but gladdened that he passed believing in the Salvation promise.

Danny always said, "Jesus is within Reason!" and we believed him, both figuratively and literally. We who believe in salvation know that Danny is not 'gone,' but with the Lord. We must think of him in the present tense only. We miss him, but we know his spirit endures, and his humor and his thoroughly aggressive smile will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched, and those lives are many indeed.

I now know that there is a way to serve Jesus with a light heart and humorous spirit, because Reverend Daniel Reason's life is a testament to that.

Danny also showed us the way to fulfill Christ's admonishment, "For I was in prison, and you visited me." The Rev. not only ministered to the incarcerated while they were in jail; he also caught up with them after their release to the free world. Release from prison is the time when a man needs his minister most, and Danny understood this. There are many prisoners who remember Rev. Reason for his patience, kindness, and good humor, and they miss him dearly.

Danny was the first friend I made when I relocated to MA, and he's remained a friend since. His encouragement and help was what I needed to start a new life here.

My prayers are with the Reason family, and also with the legions of friends whose lives were made brighter by his willingness to listen, instruct, and share.

Be with God, Danny. You fought the good fight, my dear dear friend.

He traveled to Boston in 2008 and graciously delivery my cousin Melvin Weavers eulogy. Melvin and Daniel were courageous childhood friends. Even though we did not see Daniel often, he was always a part of our convesation during family times. God will continue to strengthen you to help you through this difficult time.

He traveled to Boston in 2008 to delivery the eulogy at my cousin Melvin Weaver funeral and we enjoyed so much remembering the days of our youth. What a complete shock to hear of Pastor Reasons' passing. What a great friend, mentor and man of God. I will miss his great smile. If anyone was ready, it was Pastor Reason. He is surely preaching a sermon right now, and smiling always, and conversating with his beloved Mom and Dad.

I will miss Elder Reason's friendship most of all. His gregarious personality that made everyone feel special. His laugh and his great sense of humor. He was extremely approachable and warm and had great wisdom and understanding. He was an elder with many accolades and achievements but he never made me feel small or ordinary. He was a truely great man and I will miss him very much.
