To all the Chandler children,
I was so sad to learn about your Mom. I always enjoyed chatting with her when she came to the office. A sweet charming lady-great family.
Sincerely,
Jan Hughes

Dearest Larry and the brothers Chandler and Family ,
I can oh so FEEL your lost after losing MY Father only last year!
She sounds like a truly remarkable lady!
When people tell me they are sorry for my loss, I simply respond: "I was blessed to have a wonderful Father." And I was!! And y'all were too, blessed to have a wonderful Mother!
This is a difficult time, I know, just hold on tight and y'all WILL get through it!
PLEASE contact me after all the events are over and things settle down.
I've got some really terrific books I can recommend.
Just hang in there for now, and deal with things from minute to minute.
My love in Christ!

What a lovely tribute to an extraordinary lady. I remember the time when she really got after Laura and I when we rode our bikes along Mount Vernon from her house to mine. We were in the doghouse, to be sure, but she said her piece and didn't hold it against us in anger. I also remember the fun times spent at the many gatherings around the pool. May these wonderful memories and more keep and sustain you all. God bless.

The obituary did a beautiful job of "capturing" Eloise. They don't make them like Eloise anymore. What a privilege to have known her and John -- and to know their family.
Love in Christ,
