Offering my condolences to the Scott and Feckoury families. Words seem to be of little comfort during this difficult and sad time. However, our Heavenly Father who created us desires and has the ability to undo the effects of death.

He promises at Hosea 13:14, to empty the grave of our loved ones from death and restore them to life. Tears of sorrow and pain will be replaced with tears of joy.

May you find a measure of comfort and peace until his promise is fulfilled.

Valerie, I heard about the tragedy from one of my 19 year old son's friends, Sheridan Schuster, who was a member of Tri Delta. I had no idea your daughter was one of the beautiful young women involved. Please know I have been praying that you and your family feel the Lord's healing arms embrace and comfort you during this terrible time and that you will, in time, find peace.
Much love, my fellow Angora.

Valerie and Stephen, I wish there was something profound I could say to you to take away your pain. I serve as alumnae social advisor to the Tri Delta chapter at UGA, the same chapter that loved your Halle, that was proud to call her sister, that delighted in her friendship. Every Tri Delta has a different story about Halle, all of which are personable, memorable and endearing. Thank you for raising such a fabulous daughter. A daughter that shared herself with so many, a daughter that led by example, a daughter that had Christ as the center of her life. Her impact was far and wide at UGA. We will miss her joy, her enthusiasm, her easy nature. We are all honored to have had her in our life. We will continue to pray for you and your son, that God will grant you a peace that only He can. Just know that we loved her too. With love and respect, Becky Reynolds

I have had 2 daughters graduate from UGA and one still in vet school there. I lost my only brother 3 years ago from a drowning in Costa Rica. He was a fine Christian doctor doing mission work all over the world. My family knows your pain although we did not know your daughter . We hope for comfort to you in your loss.

We are so deeply saddened at the loss of Halle!
She was such a beautiful girl! We will never forget the fun we all had together in Greece at Dino and Meg's storybook wedding. She was such a delight to us all and we had such good times coming together as a "new family".
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May you have peace in knowing she is home with Jesus and that she is safe in HIS loving arms.
We love you all
