So sorry to hear about Dick's passing. My condolences to his wife and family. I worked for Dick in the financial department (1970's) at the GM Assembly Plant in Willow Run, Michigan. I just heard that the next PGA tournament is at the Atlanta Athletic Club and knew he was a member.
A google search brought me the news. I wasn't aware that he flew on B24's. I could have shared some stories about the Bomber Plant at Willow Run where my grandfather was the manager. Dick will be missed by all of us that knew or worked with him.

Kathie, Please accept my heart-felt condolences in the passing of your father! Although, I didn't have the opportunity to make his acquaintance, I feel like I knew him vicariously, because I had the priviledge of knowing his daughter! Kathie you've been a great friend and a wonderful person to be associated with these last few years. I miss your encouragement and I hurt with you during these times of mourning. I hope to see you soon! Gods care!

Kathie, I was saddened to hear of your father's death. I never met him, but just knowing you assured me of what the obit described; a man of great integrity. Accept my thanks for his service to our country.
I miss talking to you since I retired but know that my prayer is for the God of all comfort to make himself known to you during this time.

Dear Mrs Kellogg,

I read that Mr Kellogg had died after a long, full life with you and his family. I know he will be missed greatly.

I was Mr Kellogg's secretary during his time at the Lakewood Plant. I have only fond memories of working with him and his assistant, Jim Benedict. During my 36 years with GM I worked for quite a number of Comptrollers, but he was my favorite boss of all.

With deepest sympathy,

July 28, 2010
