To the family, and especially Tom, my friend from Post 18, who drove those foreign cars we'd never heard of before they became everywhere: Please accept my condolences for your loss. It's tough to lose a Dad. He was a true citizen and patriot, a man to look up to.

I will always remember Sam teaching our class at the USPS and what a lovely host and hostess your parents were for many parties for the Squadron at their home. I know you all will really miss him.
If there is water in heaven, he will be there.

Dear Family,
At a time like this, it is difficult to find the right words to express in order to provide comfort for those grieving. But it is my hope that you take comfort in the memories of Mr. Troncalli and his love for his family. There's an old saying that one's name is better on the day of death, than it is on their day of birth. Mr. Troncalli certainly made a great name for himself and for you, his family. May his legacy continue to strengthen you in this time of sorrow.

Dear Kay and Children:
Kay, you and Sam were always my "ideal" couple, always being there for each other, your children and friends. My memories of Sam include his begrudgingly wearing a tuxedo to a party and then having the time of his life there. Kay, I think of ya'll so very often. I hope to visit with you soon. Unfortunately, I am out of town today and unable to attend the service.
With love, Tally Sweat
