I enjoyed many phone conversations with Phil over the years and appreciated his old-fashioned but tried-and-true ways. It's sad to think he won't be calling me anymore. He was truly committed to Art Papers and the arts in general. Kelly O'Donnell, Weston Art Gallery/Aronoff Center for the Arts

A “broken heart” is the only way to describe the way I feel about the loss of my dear and wonderful
Brother in-law. His marvelous artwork and sense of humor were surpassed only by his humility
And diffidence regarding his amazing talent. It's ironic, however that Phil was the youngest of five
Siblings and the first to suffer a heart attack but the LAST to go. This because of his fabulous wife, Diane
Who nurtured him with love, pure devotion and positivity throughout their fifty-seven years of marriage.
Phil and brother Joe were brought up as twins being eleven months apart in age. They looked alike and
Dressed alike and their symbiotic relationship, deep understanding and love for one another always
remained. Now they're back together again.
Phil will be sorely missed as was brother Joe.
