Dear Isaiah Green,
Last Sunday you were at my talk at the Peach State Opera in Clarkston, and I was struck by your intelligence and brightness.
Just know, my young friend, how much I am thinking of you during this time of your enormous loss.
You are a fine person, and it is obvious how much you loved your father. Live your life to make him proud of you. Pursue your goal, using him as a model of how to live your life well. You have great promise and talent. As long as your father is in your heart, he will always live inside of you. Your father is a hero, and it is obvious how much he loves his family.
No one can ever take that from you. My deepest condolences to you, your brothers, your mother, your family, and your friends.
Just know that, even though I only spoke with you for a few minutes, it is obvious that you have something special.
