Brent Wiley was a volunteer at the Operation: Soldier At Ease home build for our military family. Tragically, he died this past weekend. He worked tirelessly to give a part of himself to the family and the community building the house. Please see the attached picture because we want to show you Brent at work on the house, doing something he believed in and loved. He had a desire to work in the non-profit arena and was ready to give and do more. I am sure that when he got to heaven that God told him "well done." I couldn't agree more.

For those of you who knew Brent, here is a link to his obituary. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/atlanta/obituary.aspx

Also, here are some words from one of his most special friends:
"Brent was a truly selfless man. He wanted to give back and do anything he could to help be a positive force in people's lives. He was the man who as they always say, gives the shirt off his back to a stranger in need. But, it was when he worked on the build it really struck a strong cord and brought it out of him full force. I remember him saying how good it made him feel to give back to the community and how much he wanted to continue on that path. He even talked about trying to look into working for a non profit. Brent has always wanted to work in a profession where he felt like he was genuinely giving back."
Thank you Brent for being a part of the OSAE family!

I want to thank you for your part in making you son such a kind and giving person. I am the President of Operation: Soldier At Ease. Brent came and worked with us on a home build for a traumatically injured soldier. He worked tirelessly and added his warmth and strength to our team. He was never a stranger to any of us from the moment he walked in the door. I am so glad that we got to know him just a little. His work is a legacy and a blessing for the family who is receiving the home. We join together as a team to pray for you and your family. He will be remembered as a part of Operation: Soldier At Ease as a friend and contributor always.

My name is Robert Anderson; and I'm deeply saddened to hear that my dear friend Brent Wiley has passed away. I've known Brent sense he was a kid, as my family lived directly across from you all in Prado North Condos. I fondly remember teaching Brent how to drive a car; and he was a quick learner. Brent was also a very kind and considerate young man who LOVED life! He simply adored you both Jeff & Sue, and looked up to his two big brothers Todd & Jason, and and just doted on his nephews.

My family sends our heart felt condolences and asked that God bless this wonderful family and heal your hearts in the lost of our baby boy Brent aka "WILEY_SIDE".

With All my love,
Robert
