Although I never met him, his writings helped me find a path through the mess that is our state. How can I repay such a debt? The greatest men in this nation are those who the state takes care not to notice. Dr. Petro surely is, therefore, the greatest of scholars. May he rest in the deepest peace.

For David & Sammy Petro and their families: So sorry to hear about Uncle Syl. Only my mom is left. I'm sorry I don't keep in touch like I should,but,the older I get the less time I have. I really want to visit North Carolina when I finally retire.
