I first met Bud in the early '70's in Southern California. I think he and Bob Lemma were drivers for the studios. Then they both agreed to get out of LA, start a construction company, and what a thriving business they started! I used to go in and bug Bud and Brad Devault in the Bolander Lemma office. We'll miss you in SoCal, Bud.

I had the pleasure to intern briefly for Bud which gave me the opportunity to appreciate his talent in Architectural design. I thoroughly enjoyed his dry sense of humor and will remember him fondly. My sincere condolences to Lezlie and his family.

Bud designed both of our Auburn homes. An extremely talented person with a great sense of humor. Living in one of his designs makes us think of him daily. Bud, you will be missed.

I worked with Bud during my employment with Placer County and so respected his ideas and ethics that we had him design our current home in Alta. We get many compliments and enjoy living here immensely.
