Hazel Gorman Obituary

CAYUGA - Hazel M. Gorman, 98, the wife of Thomas Gorman, of 723 Clark St. Road, Cayuga, died Sunday, May 9, 2010, at home. A native of Franklin, N.Y., for the past 40 years, Hazel owned and operated Shady Acres Country Antiques on Route 5 in Aurelius. She was a communicant of St. Alphonsus Church. The daughter of the late James and Helena MacCashland, she is survived by her husband, Tom; a daughter, Denise Clapper and her husband Robert III; a son, Terry Gorman; a granddaughter, Angie Wee and her husband, Andy; great-grandson, Aaron; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian burial to be offered 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 14, in St. Alphonsus Church, with the Rev. Louis Vasile as celebrant. Further arrangements by the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., Auburn, will be at the convenience of the family.
