Bobbie Cato Obituary

GREENSBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Bobbie Powell Cato, 89, widow of Mr. John Walter Cato, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 in the St. Joseph East Hospital in Greensboro. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8 in the Westview Cemetery with Rev. Robert Robinson officiating. Mrs. Cato was a native of McDuffie County and had lived in Greensboro for many years. She was a retired clerk with Lockett's Dry Cleaners. She was a member of the West End Baptist Church in Greensboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, her two sisters, Rebie Reese and Elizabeth (Lucy) Ansley and her 4 brothers, Fred Powell, Romie Powell, Edward (Ted) Powell and William (Billy) Powell. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Barbara (Wayne) Usry, Greensboro; two grandsons, Gary (Machelle) Usry and John (Amy) Usry, both of Greensboro; and three great-grandchildren, Garrett Usry, Mattie Usry, and Sophie Usry, all of Greensboro. Pallbearers will be Tommy Cato, Tommy Powell, Tim Powell, Garrett Usry, Charlie Candler, and George Schram. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home. You may sign the online guestbook at: www.curtisfuneralhome.com . Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
