Dear Ms. Laverne and Russ, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Jewell, and though I have been gone for many years, I remember him fondly. I remember he used to pick me and drop me off on Sunday's we worked together, and was my first exposure to the business world at the old Gulf Station. I always remember something he said to me. He said, "after you been all over, you will know that Warren County isn't really a bad place to be". I don't remember why he said it, but I have been many places, and there have been many times where I think back and say to myself that he was right. May God provide peace and eventual comfort to you during your most difficult time.... Jeff and Susan Toulson

For nearly twenty years I have had the honor and privilege of being one of the many vendors servicing Mr. Gray's business in Warrenton. I will miss him very much. All of Warrenton will also miss him walking out to the fuel pumps to pump their fuel in whatever weather there happened to be. He was a cornerstone of Warrenton. May God and all of His angels surround and comfort him now that his earthly journey has been completed. (Joe Prouty, Halco Lubricants, Augusta, GA)
