Glenda Vaught

EVANS, Ga. - Glenda C. Vaught, 73, wife of 53 years to Dr. Paul H. Vaught, entered into rest Thursday, February 21, 2013, at University Hospital. Memorial services will be held Monday, February 25, 2013, at 2:00 PM from New Hope Worship Center with Pastor Rich Bowen and Pastor Dwayne Thompson officiating. Mrs. Vaught, daughter of the late Needham and Ethel Strickland Causey, was born in Loris, SC. She served alongside her husband in ministry for many years. In recent years she was a member of New Hope Worship Center where she taught The Bride Class. She was also a piano teacher. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Paul Heyward Vaught, Jr. and his wife, Jean, of Monroe, and Glenn Dalton Vaught and his wife, Rebecca, of Evans; her daughter, Wendy Kay Getsinger and her husband, Dennis, of Williamston, SC; her sister, Wanda Umlauf, of Richmond, VA; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
