Ronald Tune Obituary

BLACKVILLE, S.C. - Funeral Services for Ronald Neil 'Ronnie' Tune, 59, will be held eleven am Monday, April 28 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, Dr. Thomas Terry and Rev. Cindy Fuller will be officiating. Burial will be in The Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from four to six pm on Sunday at the funeral home and others times at the home of John and Cheryl Tune in Williston. Memorials may be given to Animal Advocates Friends for Life, P.O. Box 1924, Barnwell, SC 29812 or to The Williston Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853. Ronnie died on Friday, April 25, 2008. Born in Jasper, Alabama, he was a son of John Neil Tune and the late Lounette Bostick Tune. He was a US Army Veteran having served two tours of duty in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart. He was employed by VECO Inc. in Sidney, Montana, Grasslands Site where he worked in instrumentation and was a member of the Williston United Methodist Church. Ron loved the old west, Carolina Gamecocks and was a democrat. Survivors include his wife, Gail Odom Tune; daughter 'Angel' of the home; his father of Williston; brothers John and Cheryl Tune, Sam and Sandra Tune all of Williston; sisters Cindy and Donny Keys of Waldorf, Maryland, Jan and Billy Kramer of Lakeland, Florida; sister in law Sandra Odom; aunts Jane and John Marshall and Loette Thees; uncle CS and Myrtle Bostick; seven nephews, one niece, and two grandnieces.
