His memories still fresh in my mind. Chidi was a rare gem. We miss him. May God continue to hold him tight in HIS bosom

My Poem for him today

Smiling all the way into eternity
makes the journey seem so subtle and gentle
I still remember watching him sing songs
with much passion that made me feel close to heaven
May Eternal life giver rest you well in His abode
I smiled once again seeing your pictures.
Thanks my brother in Heaven!

Ezennia as I call u, you are a priest with a difference. Your sudden demise was a loss to us here but I know it is a gain to the heavens, we are still heartbroken and wish this is a holiday so you can come back soon. I try to accept the fact but it is really difficult, please pray the angels to give us the grace to accept this truth.
Continue to rest in the bossom of Abraham.

What a precious gift the world has lost in Fr. Chidi. My daughters and I were blessed to know him while attending church in Columbus, GA. He reminded us often of what great blessings we had, and reminded me of the preciousness of incense as it wafted through the church. May God grant him eternal rest and peace, and may God's light shine on Fr. Chidi forever, and give comfort and consolation to his loved ones near and far.

I just learnt of his death two days ago. This is very shocking news to me because I first met him at the Cleratian Missionaries institute Nekede. He was a a vibrant, articulate and intelligent young man. May his soul rest in Peace Amen

Chidi was a dear friend and fellow seminarian at Saint Vincent Seminary. He told me stories of the beauty of some of the Nigerian traditions, one of which was sharing whatever they had without hesitation.

I thank God, and Mr & Mrs. Osondu, for unselfishly sharing the gift of their son Chidi with the rest of us. I pray that people will continue to support the charitable work he did through Voice of Children Ministries, working for those little ones without a voice. May God hold you in the palm of His mighty hand my friend.

Father Chidi was such a beacon of joy and faith to myself and my fellow parishioners at St. Anne's that he quickly endeared himself to us. Our congregation was quite sad when he was transferred after only one year at our church, but I'm sure he was also well loved at St. James.
I have often heard folks say when someone passes at a young age that God needed them more in Heaven than He needed them on Earth. If that is so, then Heaven has gained a special gift.
Godspeed, Father Chidi... and may God comfort your family and loved ones.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Fr. Chidi. He did the services for deceased brother at the funeral home and St. Anne in 2005.

Our thoughts and prayers go to the family of Fr. Chidi. His reverence made you feel like you were in the halls of heaven and you could feel the presence of our Lord. May he rest in peace.

It seems the best are always called too early. Some may have lost a caring, enthusiastic, vibrant, resourceful, and dedicated priest.
I have lost one of the key persons who introduced me into the life in Nigeria since 1997. The music he composed for the young Schoenstatt Fathers community will remain forever.
Fr, Chidi, continue to be a voice for children who are suffering in so many ways.

I`ll never forget the first time I met Fr. Chidi years ago in Augusta. Listening to him telling us how lucky we were to be able to turn a faucet & have water flow, or to be able to turn a switch & have light. He was always reminding us " What A Good & Gracious God " we have. We`ll miss you Fr., Rest In Peace.

With sympathy,
I was in Savannah one Sunday and heard his first words after arriving. Later I had the chance meet Fr. Chidi after Mass.
He radiated love.
For us, gone too soon.
