Robert Howard Obituary

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Robert Earl Howard, 67, husband of 47 years to Mrs. Bobbie Ann Howard entered into rest Monday, September 3, 2012 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 7, 2012 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Roland Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Mr. Howard was an electrician and a member of the IBW Union Local # 776 of Charleston, SC and of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his father, Norman George Howard Sr.; his brother, Norman George Howard, Jr., and his sister, Jean Harrison. Additional survivors include his sons, Robert Mark Howard, of Augusta, Bryan Kevin Howard, of Augusta, and David Ryan Howard, of North Augusta; his daughters, Carrie Lynne Howard, of North Augusta, and Amy Michelle Howard, of Augusta; his mother and step-father, Loutrelle Roberson & James Roberson of Modoc, SC; his grandchildren, Joseph Tomes, Jr., Caleb Collins, Austin Collins, James Collins Jr, Michela Howard, Quinton Howard, Jacob Howard, Carrie Howard and Carley Howard; and his brothers, Richard Ricky Howard (Denise), of Evans and Billy Ray Howard, of Martinez. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 6 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
