Add your message here. The first yr is the hardest! I Know what not having such a tremendous man there daily feels like. GODs ways arent ours and I cant explain why. What I Do Know is Derek was a Saved man and His walk and talk Matched! Anyone that Ever met him knew he was a UGA Dawg People person that greeted you with that GOD given smile Strong handshake and if appropriate that wonderful deep laugh! You his beloved family have had to begin again without him But Never Without JESUS! One day You Will reunite Forever and some days thats all your heart can grasp! My prayer is you feel and know GOD gives you what you need for each day and all the days of your life! Broken you now know the BIBLEs truth that our days are numbered. May you live your days knowing- I can Do All things through CHRIST Who Strengthens Me. And on extra hard days Remember- Cast All Your cares upon HIM for HE Careth for You! May you hearts feel the continued prayers of many loving people.

I met Derek once at a military career fair at Fort Gordon. He left a lasting impression. He was smiling then and was very professional. I will always remember him from having met him that day. My deepest sympathy and thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
