Harold Ferrell Obituary

Ferrell AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Harold Eugene Ferrell, age 76, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Richard Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. John Walker and Rev. Jody Martin will officiate. Mr. Ferrell was born July 30, 1939 in Walnut, Mississippi; he was preceded in death by his parents the late Jewell & Iola Pearl Martindale Ferrell, two sons, Harold E. Ferrell, Jr. and Jerome Ferrell, a brother, Billy Ferrell and a sister, Patricia Ferrell. He was a member of Miracle Baptist Church and the Angus Association. He retired from Ponderosa Fibers as a manager. Mr. Ferrell lived in Augusta for 35 years. He passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ann Ferrell of Augusta, a brother, Gerald Ferrell of Drummonds, TN, a sister, Jean Gray of Nesbit, MS and a grand-daughter, Kirsten Ferrell of Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ron Gray, Michael Kitchens, Leonard Trotter, Ron Bray, Richard Josey and Donnie Carter. Wain Sweat, Wendell Oliver, Baker Oliver, Greg James, Lawrence Willis and James Joiner will serve as honorary pallbearers. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
