Wilma Wicker Obituary
Wilma was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dedicated military wife. She was a loving mother who taught her children to love God and always had a kind word for everyone. Ms. Wicker worked at PXs on bases from Arizona to Germany and in recent years enjoyed working on her flower garden.
Family members include two sons: Jerry Wicker and Johnny Wicker both of Augusta; two daughters: Teresa Lord of North Augusta, SC, and Beth Vilano (Charles) of Prairieville, LA; six grandchildren: Jill, Jamie, Kristie, Shannon, Erin and Evelyn and eleven great grandchildren: Tony, Lilly, Blake, Justice, Allyssa, Bailey, Courtney, Gianna, Kaiden, Grayson and Paisley Ann; two sisters: Teresa Hartman and Billie Ann Coursey and one brother: William H. Rader, Jr.
The funeral service will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Memorials contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 1384 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901 or to In Touch Ministries P.O. Box 7900, Atlanta, GA 30357.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M., at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
