To the man I knew when he first met my mom Pamela, he made her happy, he made us laugh all the time, and he gave me my amazing brother Bobby "John" Martinez. He tried hard to give my brother whatever he could, be it a movie, a fishing trip or a game of chess.
We will miss your visits, we will miss you picking on us and making us laugh. May you rest in peace and without pain.

Sorry for the loss of your brother. My prayers are with you all.
Chaco was such a cool and funny friend in grade school.
I remember playing football with him in our front yards.
I also remember one time racing around the block with him along with Pat and by brother Gus. Pat and Gus were good runners but Chaco and me (Bear) were a little chubby and we hid behind a bush to "catch up" on a lap and so we ran 4 laps instead of the 5 our older brothers ran. Chaco and me still finished last anyway but we all had fun.
God bless and take care.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. - John 14:1,2
That day which you fear as being the end of all things is the birthday of your eternity.
May all of us, who loved Johnny find peace and comfort in the promises of our Lord Jesus, to the glory of God, the Father. Amen.

Dearest Martinez Family and Friends:

It is with great sadness that I learned of your Dear Brother and My Friend's passing. I loved, Johnny, aka "Choco Bread," aka "Iceberg," like my own brother, he always had my back. We had a lot of good times floating down the river, power lifting and of course "Running with the Chicano Bulls."

May the Peace of Our Risen Lord find you and all of us in this difficult time.

To all of the Martinez Family, Bobbys Aunts, Uncles and my sisters and brothers my deepest heartfelt sympathy to you all. So many memories. Memories of our times together regardless of where we where or what we were doing will be forever held dear to me. Including that occasional cup of coffee in the morning. May your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
Johnny will be truly missed by everyone who knew him no matter where they crossed his path in life.
From our hearts to yours, I know how much you will miss Johnny; so will we.
Much love, Pam, Bobby and Kristen
