Ken Scarbrough Family (Alvin's oldest son) we are all so very sorry to hear of Leon's passing. He brought so many of the Scarbroughs together again with the reunions he and his family planned. He will be missed.

We the cousins of Leon who live here in NV are remembering him as he was when we visited him at his home in AZ. He was well and looking good!
He is free now to join his Father Jim, Mother Bell, 10 brothers and sisters, and yet we feel the presence of his spirit here with us also. Heaven will be a brighter light with him in it.
He was one of the nicest, kindest & caring persons you could ever meet & his virtues are too long to list here.
He was very honorable and patriotic and his family came first in his life always. Love to All of You.
Patricia Ledbetter, son Steve, daughter Sharon and rest of our family.

I remember Leon as a strong, kind, gentle man. I spent many years of my childhood at Leon's and Helen's playing with my cousin, Tommy, their son. Leon was an interesting, down to earth man, always pleasant and with a great sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with the family that he loved dearly. Now he is reunited with his loved ones above. I know they are all looking down from Heaven with a smile.

Our prayers go out to Leon's family. He was a terrific husband, father grandfather, great grandfather and my great great cousin. I have fond memories of the family picnic's together and going to their cabin.
We will really miss his engaging stories and warm smile. May you rest in Gods loving arms knowing how much you positively influenced our lives. You were an amazing person and will be missed greatly. I know my parents are happy that you are united heaven with them now. However., we will miss you so much here on earth.
Love in Christ,

My deepest sympathy to all the family. Leon was a good friend and a great neighbor to my family for many years. I remember when Leon told me that he and Helen would be looking out their living room window waiting for RIchie to come home from school and they would wish that our son would forget his house key so that they could invite him over for cookies! ha ha! Leon and Helen would entertain Richie for a while until we arrived home from work. I think our son lost or forgot his house keys on purpose :)
Love,
