Melissa Bestenlehner Obituary
Missy passed away on March 4, 2010 at the age of 36. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Missy is survived by her mother Rosemary, and brothers Dan and Mike. She will be greatly missed by all her family and her loving friends Ann & Chris Foley, Shawn Shepherd, and Tom Wesseln. She was born and raised in Arizona as well as a graduate of Xavier Prep. She was pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She enjoyed doing volunteer work and supported many animal organizations. Missy was a kind hearted and compassionate soul whose inner light shined bright over everyone. Her smile, laughter, and gentleness will be missed by all. A visitation will be held at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 East Indian
School Road, on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 4-6pm. Funeral mass will be held at Brophy Chapel on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 4pm. Contributions can be made to NAMI or the Leukemia Society in Missy's name.

I am so sad that I am just now aware of the loss of Missy, my DG pledge sister and roommate at ASU. We lived together in 1993 and were good friends.. She was loved by so many and will be missed terribly. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.

I am so sorry for your daughter leaving this way.... my thoughts are with you. I loved the way she hugged and trusted me. I was shocked and deeply saddened when I learned of Missy passing. Missy and I shared such sweet, childlike moments while roomed together in '93-'94. We used to laugh together about the smallest things. That is only one of the things that made her so special. She was kind, intelligent, passionate, compassionate, and giving. Her sweetness was so unique to this world and I loved that about her. I am so very sorry for your loss, and for Missy passing, that words cannot describe.
