Jesse was a kind, bright student. I had asked him to take a picture of his drums and he did one better; he took a video of him playing a song he wrote and then showed it in class. He was very talented. I will treasure the art pieces he made and gave to me. I will miss you Jesse.

I had the pleasure of seeing Jesse once a week to talk about music. He took to the drums like a natural. He was fascinated with the instrument, played with power and enthusiasm, and thoroughly enjoyed the process of learning. He really took pride in his accomplishments. He was a friend and I will never forget his genuine good spirit and boisterous, contagious laughter. I feel fortunate that our paths crossed in this lifetime. My heart goes out to his family.

I will miss Jesse stopping to say hello whenever he walked past my house or waving whenever he saw me drive by. He was special and will be greatly missed. God bless and heaven has one heck of a drummer. He will always be looking down on you with love.

I will miss having Jesse walking by my house every day as he always made it a point to say hello to me and ask how I was doing when I was outside. He also never failed to wave as I drove by him as he was walking up the street. He was special and will be missed. May God bless Jesse and his family and remember he will always be watching over you.
