Eddie this is your old friend Benny (Ben Norvell). So sorry I missed your services as I found out about your passing years too late. I did call Diana to touch base and pass on my sympathy. Somewhere along the way, we lost touch with each other. We were best of friends in high school and for many years after that. I loved you like a brother Eddie. Congrats on your son Michael - I'm certain Diana and yourself were / are proud parents. I will keep you in my thoughts until my time comes along. Peace to you my brother - Ben Norvell

Dear Diana and Michael: I knew Eddie from the time I was about 5 or 6. Ed (Clarence) and Frances were best friends with my parents (Charlie and Ruth). Eddie was a great guy and I know you with both the love of his life. Proud husband and father, that was Eddie. May God bless you both. Know that he will watch over both of you and be your Guardian Angel.
Fondly, Linda Schroeder

It was great working with Ed at Northwest Station. Ed knew how to bring a sense of normalcy to any "postal" situation. Now I look forward to seeing Ed, in good health, in the promised paradise mentioned in God's Word.

It was my honor to know Ed these past 5 years. He had many other friends that I'm sure feel the same way. He was one of a kind and I will miss him very much.

I cannot believe it has been almost 40 yrs. since I first met Ed. It was at "Crown Lace and Notions" where my friend and I had just got hired and he was the "delivery guy". Little did I know then that we would meet again as "letter carriers" at NW station. I remember him meeting Diana at the softball game.so many memories. He will be truly missed.

Diana and Michael, please know that friends far and near have you in their hearts today and always. Eddie (or, "Eddie Spaghetti") as he was known to the "Ocotillo Gang" so many years ago, was a one-of-a-kind, genuine guy. More than 25 years passed between our time together in the late 70's until we met again just two years ago at an annual Kentucky Derby Party. He had not changed one bit! And, it was obvious that Eddie had met the love of his life in you, Diana. Eddie will be missed by many but never forgotten.
